  1. Visit your Zoho Accounts profile.
  2. Navigate to Multi-Factor Authentication > MFA Recovery Options in the left-side menu. Under Backup verification codes, click “Generate New Codes”.

Install Zoho OneAuth

Zoho OneAuth must be installed and used exclusively on Boomering-issued laptops or desktops.
  1. Access this link to view the Zoho OneAuth desktop application.
  2. Click "View in Store" to install Zoho OneAuth directly from the Microsoft Store application without needing an admin password.
WarningNote: Please avoid clicking the "Download" option, as this will download an .exe file that requires IT assistance for installation.

  3. Once the Microsoft Store application opens, click "Install".

  4. Please wait a few minutes for Zoho OneAuth to install. Once the installation is complete, a pop-up notification will appear in the lower-right corner of your screen. Click "Launch".

Set up Zoho OneAuth

  1. Click “SIGN-IN”.

  2. Enter your credentials and click “Sign in”.

  3. Zoho OneAuth will prompt you for an OTP sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click “Verify”.

Note: If you do not receive the OTP, click “Can’t access your device?” then choose the “Use backup verification code”.

Enter a backup verification code then click “Verify”.

  4. Zoho OneAuth will request access to your name, picture, and other account information. Click “Yes”.

  5. Set up authentication by selecting “Go Passwordless”.

  6. A prompt may appear stating that your biometrics could not be verified. Click “Continue”.

  7. An Authentication Summary will then be displayed. Click “Enable MFA”.

  8. There will be another prompt regarding the application’s improvement. You may choose to either proceed with your identity, anonymously, or opt-out.

  9. After accessing the application, proceed with Recovery Setup by clicking the yellow banner.

Note: Zoho OneAuth’s recovery uses a Passphrase, an additional security layer to help you recover online accounts if you lose access to your device. It ensures your two-factor authentication is continuously backed up and recoverable from any device. Click "Set up now".

Enter your passphrase and click “Next”. It will also ask you to re-enter your passphrase and click “Done”.
