New Overtime Request Process as of May 14, 2025
APPROVED overtime should be filed by sending an email to Jeanna (in charge of Timekeeping)jeann@boomering.ph, every cut-off period.

The email should include of the ff:

  1. Approval from Client/AM/BDM/TL
  2. Date of Overtime/s
  3. Hours rendered for Overtime (Note: Lunch break is not included in case did a whole day OT)

Tagging/Legends

  1. OT – excess hours after your regular shift and working days
  2. RD – working hours rendered during your Rest Day/Weekend/Day-off
  3. RDOT – excess from your regular working hours work rendered on your Rest Day/Weekend/Day-off

Sample

Regular shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm (8 hours w/ 30 minutes Lunch Break) Monday to Friday 

*Employee worked on a Saturday from 7 am – 7 pm


RD – 8 hours (7 am – 3 pm)

RDOT – 4 hours (3 pm – 7 pm)


Once you have obtained approval from your Client/AM/BDM/TL, proceed to submit your OT request in Zoho People. Please follow the steps below to ensure timely processing and approval:

Overtime Request Process in Zoho People

  1. Navigate to the Attendance Module in Zoho People
    1. Log in to your Zoho People account.
    2. Click on the Attendance tab located in the left sidebar.
  2. Select the Overtime Request Tab
    1. Within the Attendance module, click on the Overtime Request tab
  3. Click Add Record
    1. Click on the Add Record button to initiate a new OT request.


  4. Complete the Required Fields


    1. Fill in the necessary details, including:
      1. Attendance Date and Overtime Hours: Specify the date and duration of the overtime worked.
      2. Reason: Provide a brief explanation for the OT request.
      3. Approver Details: Ensure that the OT request is approved by your immediate superior and division head. Upload the Pre-approval Email/Chat Screenshot file.
  5. Submit the Request
    1. After completing the form, click Submit to finalize your OT request.
Warning
Important Notes:
  1. Approval Requirement: OT requests without necessary approvals will not be processed.
  2. Payroll Impact: Unapproved OT hours will be excluded from the upcoming payroll.
Please adhere strictly to this process to ensure that your OT hours are accurately recorded and compensated.
